General Guidelines

Student Information
Please keep LKM Dance up to date with any changes to your address, email or contact telephone numbers.  In the case of an emergency, the correct contact numbers are very important.

Dance Fees & Payment
Dance fees are based on the public school terms - i.e., 4 terms per year.  Fees are calculated on a weekly basis with invoices issued in Week 1 of each term for the full term.  Payment is due by the end of Week 3 each term.  No credit or refund is given for absences.  Payments may be made by direct deposit to our bank account, cheque or cash.  Any questions regarding billing should be addressed to our accounts staff or emailed to accounts@lkmdance.com.au

Late Fee
Dance fees are due 14 days from receiving the invoice.  Unless contact is made with the studio, a $20 late fee will automatically be charged to your account.  To be fair to all families, students will not be able to participate in any dance classes if the account is more than 45 days past due.

Withdrawal from Classes
If a student wishes to withdraw from class, please notify your teacher in writing to enable our records to be updated.  No tuition refunds will be issued.  The Registration Fee is non-refundable.  If a student discontinues after they have committed to participating in the year-end concert, they will be responsible for all payments due, including costumes, whether participating in the show or not.

Transferring Classes
If you wish to transfer or change classes please see your teacher.  We will do our best to accommodate you however some classes do have a waiting list.  Changes to classes cannot be accommodated in Term 4 as costumes will already have been ordered for our end of year concert.

Studio Notice Board
Please check our LKM notice boards regularly for studio information.  Newsletters are published at the beginning of each term with important dates and information.  Additional notices are periodically sent home with students. Please check your child's dance bag for notices and regularly check Star News on our website at www.lkmdance.com.au

Registration Info and Fees
A non–refundable annual registration fee of $15 per student or $25 per family is due upon registration. Current students are extended pre-registration privileges allowing them to secure a spot for the following dance year.

Special Performances
Throughout the year, LKM Dance Studio is invited to participate in local events, including parades and gala days open to all students.  Our Performance Troupes participate in these events, showcasing their dance and performance skills.  These troupes also compete in a number of eisteddfods throughout the year and we are proud to say that they have achieved numerous awards!

Lost & Found
LKM Dance is not responsible for any lost personal items of clothing, jewellery, shoes, school books, etc. Please help us return lost items to you by labeling every item that comes into the studio. Please check the Lost and Found bin periodically. Throughout the year we clean out the lost and found bin with any remaining items donated to charity.

Behaviour Guidelines

	A positive, respectful and professional attitude is expected by all students, parents and staff.
	Students are expected to attend classes each week giving 100% commitment & effort.
	Bad language, unsportsmanlike conduct or gossip will not be tolerated.
	Mobile phones are not to disturb the class in progress.  Phones should be turned off or switched to silent during class.
	Food or drink is not permitted on the dance floor.
	Students and parents should be respectful in the reception area.  Please keep noise to a minimum so as not to disturb the class in progress.  No standing or sitting on bench tops.  Please remember the reception area is NOT a playground.
	Do not leave shoes, clothes or other items on the floor.  Keep all your dance gear in your bag and place in the cubicles provided.
	Place all rubbish, empty drink containers etc in the bins provided - respect studio property
